On the last Friday of each month, members get together over a tea or coffee to have a chat about lot of things including books, movies, current events, current affairs, what's happening in Boroondara or other current matters.

Τέσσερις φορές το μήνα οργανώνονται μεσημεριανά γεύματα. Greek speaking seniors get together to celebrate events like Easter and Christmas, go on day trips, play cards, dominos, backgammon, bingo, table tennis. Cost: $5 per year for membership, and $5 per session. Runs on Fridays from 8 am to 1 pm.

The Australian Vietnamese Association runs a range of activities including talking, sharing stories, gentle Qigong exercises, traditional dance, table tennis, tai chi, line dancing, gentle exercise, digital skills, singing, games, excursions and events. Runs on Saturday from 9 am to 12 pm. Cost: $20 per year.

Regular concerts, which are popular with older Kew residents. Our band features brass, woodwind and percussion instruments. We play swing, classical, pop, film and traditional band music (e.g. marches). Runs on Fridays during the school term from 7:30 pm to 10 pm. Cost: free.

The Boroondara Travel Smart map shows public transport routes including trains, trams and buses. It also includes bike lanes and walking tracks.

Boroondara has four well-known markets where you can buy and sell arts and crafts or hunt through trash and treasure. Love to cook? Pick up farm fresh produce direct from growers at our farmer's markets.

Enjoy walking around the neighbourhood with other locals, enjoying a coffee along the way.
