Neighbourhood houses and community centres bring people together to connect, learn and contribute in their local community through social, educational, recreational and support activities.

Ten neighbourhood houses and community centres operate in Boroondara. They offer a range of courses, activities and services for a modest fee, including:

  • short and one-off courses
  • childcare
  • social groups
  • fitness classes
  • art groups
  • playgroups
  • school holiday activities
  • rooms and halls for hire
  • games groups.

To find out what's happening at our neighbourhood houses and community centres, as well as hire costs, visit the website for each centre or see the Boroondara Neighbourhood Houses Short Course Guide.
