Neighbourhood houses and community centres

Our neighbourhood houses and community centres help bring people together and connect with one another. They're the perfect place to learn and make a difference in our local community.

We have 11 neighbourhood houses and community centres that offer a range of free or low-cost programs that encourage learning in a supportive and friendly environment.

There are a range of activities, workshops and events on offer to suit all ages and abilities, and range from arts and crafts to school holiday programs, fitness, English language classes, and much more.

Contact your local neighbourhood house or community centre to find out more about the activities and courses on offer, and help in finding courses or events that suit your needs.

To find the latest events, workshops or courses on offer or register for a course, event or workshop, visit your local Neighbourhood Houses website.

We have four Men’s Shed located in Ashburton, Kew, Hawthorn and North Balwyn.
