Our Home Library Service delivers library items to any Boroondara resident who has difficulty visiting our libraries due to age, frailty or disability.

How it works

To join, ask in any library, phone us on 9278 4666 or email Home Library Service.

When you join the service, we’ll ask you about your reading, listening and film preferences and help make selections.

There's no limit on the number of items you can borrow, which are delivered to your home by our team of wonderful volunteers. These volunteers also collect items to return since their last visit.

You'll also receive Home News, the monthly Home Library Service newsletter that goes out with each delivery.
