The upgraded playground at Norway Reserve, Glen Iris, is designed to: 

  • offer more ways to play for children of all ages and abilities
  • improve accessibility so that more people can enjoy the space
  • grow with the community by supporting the needs of children, families and carers now and into the future.

Playground features

  • A play unit with a double slide, tube slide, fire pole and activity panels
  • A basket swing, toddler swing and sling seat
  • An accessible carousel
  • An adventure trail with climbing ropes, monkey bars and balance activities
  • A horse rocker.

Park improvements 

  • Improved platform seating overlooking the playground
  • A new picnic table setting
  • Accessible surfaces connecting the footpath to the playground.
