09/21/2025 4:30 pm 09/21/2025 6:30 pm Nansie: Q and A screening for Dementia Week Like so many families, sisters Adelaide and Lucinda grew up spending a lot of time with their Nana Ann, also known as 'Nansie', who would help look after them as children, including taking them to swimming lessons. Now as strong young women with a deep love of the ocean, the roles were reversed when Nansie was diagnosed with dementia in 2018. Adelaide and Lucinda embark on a 4-year journey of discovery that tests the limits of what is possible within the confines of the disease as well as themselves as carers.This is a documentary created by 3 young women over the space of 5 years, screening at Lido Cinemas in Hawthorn for Dementia Action Week.
