Coronavirus update 13 March 2020

Coronavirus: guidance and support.

Playtime with other children develops their social skills, focus and self control.

Playgroups are a great way for your child to learn through play and make new friends. They also provide an opportunity to meet and connect with parents.

Activities can include singing, dancing, craft, sports and free play. You can also offer your own ideas for activities to add variety to playgroup sessions.

In our area we have playgroups for:

  • parents and caregivers who speak other languages
  • grandparents
  • dads
  • parents with additional needs.

Find a local playgroup that suits you or get advice on how to start your own at Playgroup Victoria.

You can also speak with your Maternal and Child Health nurse.

Active at home

Search for activities to keep the kids busy while we're social distancing.
