Applications for the next round of Climate Action Grants are now open.

Eligible non-for-profit community groups can receive up to $10,000 in funding to support initiatives that help the Boroondara community reduce emissions and adapt to the impacts of climate change.

Whether it’s an energy efficiency program, sustainable transport initiative or environmental education campaign for local schools, we want to help you implement your plan! 

The grants are part of our Annual Community Strengthening Grants program and deliver on a commitment in our Climate Action Plan Implementation Plan. Find out more on our Climate Action Plan hub.

Support for grant applicants 

If you have a project idea, we encourage you to have a chat with our Council staff first. They'll help you shape your application and give it the best chance of success.

You can also learn more about the application process by attending one of our information sessions on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 March.

These sessions are free and give applicants all the necessary information to help them through the application process.
