We're improving our services

From mobile software for field workers to booking an event space, we’re improving how we deliver services for you.

By changing how we work, we’re continuing to improve customer experiences and service delivery across Council. This includes introducing new technology where it’s needed for us to operate more efficiently and reduce the time it takes to respond to customer requests. 

We’re currently upgrading the mobile software our field workers use daily out on location to deliver a better service for our community. From maintaining our beautiful trees to road and footpath works, taking care of drainage maintenance, turf and playground audits, our field teams will soon be equipped to complete inspections and respond to maintenance requests from anywhere, on any device. 

We’re also making it simpler for you to access information and Council services. This year we are developing a new booking tool to make it easier to book our venues and facilities online, whether you have an event at a pavilion in mind, want to book a library meeting room or reserve an area at one of our many popular parks and gardens across Boroondara. 

You’ve told us that you want to be able to connect with Council at any time and in a way that’s convenient for you.  As well as making it easier to do more on our website, we’ll be adding live online chat in the next year, providing another easy way to reach our Customer Connect team in addition to phone, email and webform or visiting our customer service counter in Camberwell.
