Sustainability programs and resources for schools and kindergartens

We offer a range of services and resources to schools and kindergartens to help students, teachers, and families. These services and resources focus on learning more about the environment, becoming actively involved in the community, and encouraging students to live more sustainably.

Eastern Alliance for Sustainable Learning

The Eastern Alliance for Sustainable Learning (EASL) consists of 7 member councils in the Eastern region:

  • Boroondara
  • Knox
  • Manningham
  • Maroondah
  • Monash
  • Whitehorse
  • Yarra Ranges.

EASL provides services, support and resources to help schools and kinders of member councils embed environmental sustainability into their curriculum, facilities and policies. You can find out more on the EASL website.

Apply for a speaker or incursion

Energy saving

Borrow an energy meter or a thermal imaging camera from one of our libraries to track your school's energy use and save energy.
