St James Park sportsground is suitable for AFL and cricket while park benches and sloped grass offer great viewing areas.

Sportsground lighting and the turf pitch are not available for casual bookings.
All bookings require a minimum notice of 5 full business days.

Public facilities are free for all sportsground visitors to use. They are not included as part of a booking.

There is limited parking on Wood Street and Denham Street. The park is 450 m away from Hawthorn train station.

April to October: 7 am to 6 pm.
November to March: 8 am to 8 pm.
