Maranoa Botanic Gardens guided celebration walk

To celebrate Maranoa Botanic Gardens first opening to the public 100 years ago, join us for a guided walk to learn about our much-loved gardens. 

This guided walk is part of our Celebration in the Gardens free community event on Saturday 19 September.

Spaces for both walks are limited. 

Register for 10 am to 11 am

Register for 2 pm to 3 pm

Where to meet

Please enter the gardens via the Parring Road entry gate (off Whitehorse Road). Please note there are multiple entry gates to the gardens.

This is also the main carpark for the gardens. 

A staff member will meet you in front of the office building, 100 metres from the Parring Road gate. 

Keep in mind

Please remember to:

• wear appropriate clothing and shoes for an outdoor walk and the day's weather
• bring a water bottle
• remain on the footpaths during the walk.

Children may attend, however must have an adult guardian present throughout the event. It is the guardian’s responsibility to supervise your child.
