Maranoa Botanic Gardens celebration: Nature journaling workshop

To celebrate Maranoa Botanic Gardens first opening to the public 100 years ago, join us for a guided nature journaling workshop in our much-loved gardens. 

This guided workshop is part of our Celebration in the Gardens free community event on Saturday 19 September.

Where to meet

Please enter the gardens via the Parring Road entry gate (off Whitehorse Road). Please note there are multiple entry gates to the gardens.

This is also the main carpark for the gardens. 

A staff member will meet you in front of the office building, 100 metres from the Parring Road gate. 

Keep in mind

Please remember to:

• wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the day's weather
• bring a water bottle
• remain on the footpaths while in the park.

Children may attend, however must have an adult guardian present throughout the event. It is the guardian’s responsibility to supervise your child.

We will email attendees if we need to cancel or postpone.
