09/06/2025 10:00 am 09/06/2025 4:00 pm The Luminous Archive Boroondara residents are invited to experience a cultural event right on our doorstep. Local artist and Boroondara Networking Group member Gemma Donnellan presents "The Luminous Archive" – a one-day-only exhibition of 22 original artworks exploring how everyday objects hold our family stories across generations.This free exhibition transforms inherited crystal objects into "silent, shimmering archives" of ancestral memory, celebrating the beauty of craftsmanship and the importance of preserving our cultural heritage. Families are welcome to explore these luminous artworks that capture light, memory and the connections that bind us together.Donnellan, a long-standing Boroondara resident and active community member, has spent 25 years developing her artistic practice. Her work is held in significant collections including St Vincent's Hospital and Peter MacCallum Hospital, and this exhibition represents a unique opportunity to experience contemporary art in a creative setting.Free admission.
