We’re committed to supporting older adults to live independently, stay healthy​ and remain connected to their community.

The Aged Care Navigation service offers free, confidential support to help people aged 65 and over​ or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 50 and over, ‌access services through My Aged Care. These services can help you stay safe and supported at home for longer.

Our aged care navigator can help you:

  • understand My Aged Care including eligibility and the assessment process  
  • get support to access services to stay safe at home
  • connect with local supports and social activities
  • get clear and practical advice about your aged care options.

Drop-in sessions

If you’d like to speak to an aged care navigator in person, we’ll be holding drop-in information sessions at our libraries. No need to book — just drop in.

Ashburton Library

Address: 154 High Street  
Date/s: Tuesday 17 February from 11 am to 1 pm

Balwyn Library

Address: 336 Whitehorse Road
Date/s: Tuesday 3 March from 11 am to 1 pm

Camberwell Library

Address: 340 Camberwell Road
Date/s: Every Thursday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Note: on 26 February and 5 March there will be no drop-in sessions

Hawthorn Library 

Address: 584 Glenferrie Road
Date/s: Tuesday 17 March from 11 am to 1 pm
