When choosing a venue for your event, consider:

• Is the event indoors or outdoors?
• How many guests can the venue accommodate?
• Will you need a liquor licence?
• What is included in the hire fee (for example chairs, tables, AV equipment)?
• Are there additional charges for parking or equipment?
• When can you gain access for set-up and pack-down?
• Are there sufficient toilet facilities onsite or will you need to hire more?
• Is the venue accessible for your intended audience?
