Council is transferring its land at 609 Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn, shown shaded red in the aerial image below. The land is described as Lot 1 on Title Plan 402236R and is in the Certificate of Title Volume 6520 Folio 986.
Land shaded red: The Council-owned land proposed to be transferred (609 Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn).
Land shaded blue: The Hawthorn RSL building (605-607 Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn).
Council is transferring the 150m2 (approximate) land to the Hawthorn RSL Sub-Branch Inc, who owns the adjoining Hawthorn RSL building at 605-607 Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn, for $1.00 inclusive of GST. Council will be responsible for all transfer costs.

This notice is informational only and Council will proceed with the transfer after 4 weeks.
This notice is in line with section 114 of the Local Government Act 2020 and Council’s Community Engagement Policy.
