It’s everything you love about summer in Boroondara... remixed for 2026! Join us on Thursday 29 January for Djirrungana Kulture – a special night of Indigenous culture, music and storytelling at Maranoa Gardens curated by Jason Tamiru, cultural interpreter Baimi Lore, Serpent Dreaming.

Then every Friday night from 30 January to 27 February, head to the new festival hub at Camberwell Civic Precinct to catch soul, a Kylie and Dannii disco, global beats and Zorba in the Park on a solar-powered stage, plus special events across Boroondara.

Don’t miss Jazz in the Park at Riversdale Park with a 14-piece mambo band – our biggest band yet! And for something truly special on Saturday 28 February, La Dolce Vita brings opera under the stars to Canterbury Gardens, transforming it into a romantic Italian piazza complete with a pizza truck and roving performers.

Some more highlights:

• Bring the little ones along to Woody’s Bush Bash in the Mall for a family-friendly musical comedy blending interactive storytelling, bushland puppetry and original Aussie songs. Woody will teach the basics of ukulele playing then everyone can join in the show finale. It’s at Theatre Place off Maling Road on Saturday 31 January, 10 to 11:30 am.
• Dress the part for a spook-tacular Cinema in the Park with The Addams Family under the stars. There’ll be prizes for the best outfits and a fun atmosphere for all ages. It’s at Greythorn Park on Friday 13 February, 6 to 8 pm.
• Ditch the cliches at our Alternative Valentine's Day, an epic afternoon at Junction Skate and BMX Park in Camberwell. Watch or join skate and BMX competitions led by pro riders, then roll over to the park for a free live concert with sets by Krystal Rivvers and Vollie. It’s on Saturday 14 February, 4:30 to 8 pm.
