Sustainable House Day is back on Sunday 17 May 2026. This annual event is an opportunity to visit real homes and learn practical ways to make your place more energy efficient and climate-ready from the people who designed, built and live in them.
Whether you're building a new home, renovating or just looking for tips, there's something for everyone.
Boroondara residents with sustainable houses are opening their doors to show you how to make your home more comfortable and energy efficient.
Register on the Sustainable House Day website to check out homes in your area that have incorporated sustainable features, from small changes to major renovations.
If you can't make it to sustainable houses in person, you can access online tours of homes around the country, plus expert-led webinars to help you on your journey.
To view the list of webinars and sign up, visit the Sustainable House Day website.
We've partnered with Renew to host Sustainable House Day 2026 across Boroondara.
