Discover why second-hand is as good as gold by taking part in our Second-hand Treasure Trail!
Join the Boroondara Second-hand Treasure Trail in October for a self-guided tour of local second-hand shops.
It’s a great way to discover hidden treasures in your neighbourhood while supporting the environment by buying second-hand.
From vintage clothes to classic books and unique furniture, each shop gives you a chance to find something special and give pre-loved items a new life.
How to participate
To join the fun all you need to do is:
- Collect your Second-hand Treasure Trail card: Pick up a competition card at any of the participating shops from Wednesday 1 October.
- Follow the trail: Visit 5 different shops and stamp your competition card at each store. A visit to a store is all you need to get your card stamped — no purchase is necessary.
- Go into the draw to win a voucher: Once you've completed your card, send it to us. You’ll go into the draw to win a $50 donated voucher to use at one of the following shops, which will be chosen at random:
- Sacred Heart Mission in Hawthorn
- MS Community Shop in Kew
- Hope Community Op Shop in Balwyn
- Rotary Fair Trade and Gift Shop in Kew East

You can enter more than once by completing another card.
