We’re trialling a hard waste program – Hard Waste and Resource Rescue – that helps keep reusable items out of landfill.
If you opt in, you can put your hard waste out up to 7 days before your booked collection date.

We’ll send you a set of item tags so you can label your items as reusable and others can take anything they can reuse, repair or repurpose.

We’ll also include a handy guide to local places where you can reuse, donate or recycle items.

Your collection booking will remain the same — the only difference is your items can go out a little earlier, and someone else might be able to give them a second life.
