Tens of thousands of talented hopefuls have taken to the Boroondara Eisteddfod stage over its 35 years. And among its standout talents is last year’s Piano Concerto Award winner Charlie Wu (pictured).
At just 12 years old, Charlie impressed judges with a commanding performance of Rachmaninoff’s famously difficult Piano Concerto No. 3. He earned praise for his exceptional technique and musical maturity – summed up as ‘just incredible’.

Tickets go on sale from 5 June for:
The 2026 Piano Concerto Award will be decided on Sunday 20 September – another opportunity to witness an emerging artist make their mark.
