This group of artistic seniors gather weekly to explore their own creativity and encourage others. Join this supportive group to connect or reconnect with your artistic side. Limited materials are available. Clients are encouraged to bring their own art supplies.

Regular concerts, which are popular with older Kew residents. Our band features brass, woodwind and percussion instruments. We play swing, classical, pop, film and traditional band music (e.g. marches). Runs on Fridays during the school term from 7:30 pm to 10 pm. Cost: free.

Camberwell Chorale is a mixed Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass choir, performing major and lesser known works from the classical chorale repertory, typically with around five concerts each year. New choristers are always welcome. Please feel free to come and sit in on a rehearsal before you join. Cost: price varies, please see our website for more information. Runs on Tuesdays from 7:30 pm to 10 pm.

Come and try one of our life drawing, painting or portraiture sessions. We have a range of tutored and untutored classes, for beginners and advanced artists. A full timetable of day and evening sessions is available on the website.

Camberwell Camera Club, a friendly group with nearly 70 years of history and about 150 active members, welcomes new members with all levels of photographic experience. The Club meets every Monday at 7:30 pm for guest presentations and workshops, as well as offering mid-week outings, and it's annual ‘beyond point and shoot’ course which will help you take your photography to the next level. A fun, non-threatening class in which you’ll develop your skills and your repertoire to a greater extent than you previously thought was possible. Courses run for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced players.

For more than ten years, our Shed has brought together men from Kew and surrounding areas of Boroondara. Most of our members are retirees but we also have some who are still in the workforce but simply enjoy being part of the Shed community. No experience or expertise necessary! You can bring along a project of your own or perhaps help someone else.

Please be aware that you will be responsible for your own activities – we do not run classes of any kind.
