Maranoa Botanic Gardens is a popular place for weddings, picnics and celebrations.

This native Australian garden provides colourful seasonal plant displays in a private and natural setting. The gardens attract a diversity of birds and butterflies.

You can book a grass area in the garden for your exclusive use.

You can apply to bring:

up to 20 chairs and 2 tables for events.

You can't bring a marquee, arbour or other shade structure.

Booking times

Gardens are open:

Monday to Friday: 7:30 am to 4 pm
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 10 am to 5 pm

The pedestrian and car park gates are locked outside of these times.

Events need to be packed up by 4 pm Monday to Friday and 5 pm on weekends and public holidays.

Closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day.

Public facilities are for all visitors to use and are not bookable.
