Greythorn Park is suitable for medium-sized social gatherings, picnics and celebrations.

It features generous open space with a cover of tall trees offering great shade options.

The playground includes shade sails which offer cover from the elements.

What you can book

You can book a grass area in the park for your exclusive use.

We require at least 10 business days notice.

You can apply to bring:

  • up to 20 chairs and 2 tables
  • a marquee or arbour covering up to 20 square metres.

Public facilities are free for all park visitors to use. They are not included as part of a booking.

Parking and transport

The car park is off Alpha Street. 

The venue is 3.8 km from Mont Albert train station.

Apply to book

Booking times

7 days including public holidays.

April to October: 8 am to 6 pm.

November to March: 8 am to 8:30 pm.

Fees are determined by the size, location, duration and complexity of the event.

Event permit
