Coronavirus update 13 March 2020

COVID-19 restrictions: what's closed and what's open.

Kew Traffic School is closed until November 2020 for renewal works. For more information, see Kew Traffic School upgrade.

Kew Traffic School is a fun and engaging space for children aged 2 to 10 to develop important road safety skills and gain confidence on their bicycle, tricycle or scooter.

The track mimics a real life road, and features:

  • roundabouts
  • intersections
  • traffic lights
  • street signs
  • railway crossings
  • mini tram and train.

Children need to bring their own bicycle, tricycle or scooter and helmet, and carers or parents must stay and supervise their children.

Kew Traffic School is available for:

  • A recently refurbished party room with microwave, fridge/freezer and boiling water tap (available for private bookings only)
  • Outdoor space with barbecue, picnic tables and chairs
  • Drinking fountain
  • Toilets
  • Baby change table
  • Shaded grass areas
  • Car park.
