To access digital books, you'll be prompted to enter your library membership details:

14-digit membership number, which is under the barcode on your library card
PIN number or password.

Libby by Overdrive provides eBooks, audiobooks and online magazines selected by our librarians for you to read or listen to on your device.

Search for 'Boroondara Library Service' in the app, or choose 'Sign in with my card' on the website, then sign in with your library membership number and PIN.

Story Box Library

Watch videos of Australian stories read by some of Australia's favourite storytellers and performers. Recommended for children aged 3 to 12 years.

Sign up on a mobile device

Go to the Story Box Library website and log in using your library membership number.
Enter your details to create a free Story Box Library account.
Download the Story Box Library App from either the Apple App store website for iOS devices, or the Google Play website for Android devices.
Select 'Get started', then select 'Log in with library access'.
Choose 'Boroondara Library Service' and enter your membership number.
Type in the password you created as part of your Story Box account creation in Step 2.

Sign up on a computer

Sign up using your library membership number on the Story Box Library website.
Enter your details to create a free Story Box Library account.
