Women’s contributions to our society have for too long been sidelined.
Hawthorn Historical Society is putting the spotlight on 8 quietly influential local women, each of whom has transformed our lives over the decades through their work in fields such as medicine, education, literature, art and music. The women share common traits: they’re bold, radical, and lived in Hawthorn.
Women of Influence features photographs and artefacts supported by further digital content.
