Maling Road AutoClassico 2026

Maling Road AutoClassico returns for its 9th year , transforming Canterbury's historic Maling Road shopping village into a European-style motoring celebration.

Presented by the Maling Road Business Association in partnership with the City of Boroondara and Bendigo Bank Inner East, this free event draws up to 20,000 visitors and showcases more than 300 hand-selected classic and exotic vehicles across themed display zones, set against the village's tree-lined, fully pedestrianised streets.

Beyond the cars, there's something for the whole family: 

• a brand-new Kidszone with activities including an airbrush tattoo parlour, balloon twister and Big Head photo booth
• a colourful Costumi Classico vintage fashion showcase, open to all
• the Tryit Ladies Lounge champagne and canapé experience
• a Parisian-inspired French Quarter celebrating French motoring heritage
• award ceremony at 2:30pm.

Maling Road will be closed to traffic from 6:30 am to 4:30pm.

This event is delivered by Maling Road Traders Association and supported by City of Boroondara through a Triennial Operational Grant.
