Event details
Featuring an expansive range of drawings, paintings, and text-based work, ‘The Future is Interest-spective’ by Autism Spectrum Australia is a community exhibition celebrating the diverse perspectives, experiences, and voices within the Autistic community.
Unified by a collective drive to form positive representations of autism, the artists present various art forms exploring themes such as gender, sport, animals, science fiction, and language. This exhibition creates a space for visitors to understand and connect to Autistic artists and their rich interests, challenging stereotypes and fostering nuance within a marginalised identity.
'The Future is Interest-spective' reflects a community that is inclusive of and co-created by neurodiverse people.
