Celebrating its 31st year, the prestigious Boroondara Eisteddfod spanned eleven weeks of thrilling competitions and events. It brought together talented musicians of all ages to showcase their skills and share in the joy of performing.

Gala Concert

The Boroondara Eisteddfod Gala Concert featured finalists competing in the open vocal, string and woodwind sections.

When: Wednesday 20 July at 6:30 pm

Where: Hawthorn Arts Centre at 360 Burwood Road, Hawthorn

Piano Concerto Final

This year, the coveted Piano Concerto Award was presented at this exciting event, featuring performances from 3 virtuosic young pianists.

When: Sunday 24 July at 2 pm

About the Eisteddfod

With a prize pool of more than $15,000, the 2022 Boroondara Eisteddfod brings together leading educators and industry professionals who will adjudicate each section. Their feedback and advice will provide an invaluable opportunity for all participants to enhance their musicianship and performance skills in a positive, supportive and COVID Safe environment.
