It’s time to think of movement as an opportunity, not an inconvenience.
Come along to discover the importance of exercise and movement to keep physically and mentally strong.
We will discuss:
- muscle engagement and leg strength, weight bearing activities
- building balance and improving core stability, tai chi, yoga
- mobility: how to get up and down from a chair and the floor
- risk factors: understand your body and your limitations.
This session will be delivered by Susie Mioni from the YMCA and there will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the workshop.
