Join us for this special Wellbeing Conversation featuring psychologists Dr Beth Hill and Dr Bronwyn Gresham from Psychology for a Safe Climate.
Coming to grips with the climate and ecological crisis, many individuals experience a range of emotions - from fear and grief to hope and determination.
This 1.5hrs interactive seminar will offer a safe space for participants to explore and articulate these complex emotions, build shared language and skills that support mutual understanding.
We will focus on the importance of connecting with others at this critical time for action, exploring the links between emotional expression, group connection and resilience. The session offers participants a chance to build greater connection and solidarity in challenging feelings and experiences.

Over the last 10 years, Beth has worked as a facilitator with individuals, groups and communities exploring despair, grief, burnout, hope and meaningful engagement with climate change. Her facilitation is rooted in the Work that Reconnects, deep ecology, imaginative nature connection, mindfulness and compassion practices that bring us back to our living earth bodies as sites of transformation and connection. Beth holds a PhD in anthropology, specialising in the cultural and psychological dimensions of climate change. She is a Mindfulness and Compassion teacher, and a registered Insight Meditation Teacher with the Insight Meditation Institute. She is also a registered facilitator of the Work that Reconnects.
Bronwyn was appointed CEO of PSC in 2023, having been a longstanding member and volunteer since 2012. She is a registered clinical psychologist who has worked across the community health, private practice and university sectors in clinical services, advisory, leadership, strategic planning, risk management, mental health promotion and prevention. Bronwyn is passionate about emerging holistic, collaborative and collective approaches to emotional, psychological and social health and wellbeing, as we live in and respond to the climate crisis. She is also mum to 2 young humans, and together they enjoy music, reading, op shopping and spending time in the garden.
