Explore the variety of ways you can volunteer in your community at our annual Volunteer Expo. If you’re new to volunteering, you’ll find a variety of roles for people of all ages with a mix of skills, interests and experience.

What's on

Pre-expo discovery session with Pia Miranda

Show up early from 12 to 1 pm for a special Q&A discussion with Australian actress, Pia Miranda. She’ll talk about her experience supporting local communities through volunteering.

Volunteer Expo

From 1 to 5 pm, speak with representatives from more than 40 volunteer local not-for-profit and community groups to find a role that fits in with your interests and schedule.

Roles can involve everything from helping to maintain local parks and green spaces to providing support to vulnerable community members and contributing to a volunteer project related to your studies or interests.

Chat to representatives from organisations from a range of sectors, including:

If the expo inspires you, keep your learning going and attend our online information session on Tuesday 24 March, facilitated by Volunteering Victoria. Whether you’re thinking about becoming a volunteer or already volunteering in the community, learn more about what's expected when volunteering. The session will cover: your rights and responsibilities and how to effectively communicate with your supervisor.
