Body safety and consent webinar

This free webinar is designed to equip carers with the confidence, knowledge and practical tools needed to introduce body safety and consent education to children in an age-appropriate and meaningful way. For parents and carers of children 1 to 10 years old.

Children grow and learn at their own pace, so it’s never too soon to teach them about body safety and consent. 

The session will cover:

• Ten essential body safety skills.
• How to respond safely and appropriately if a child tells you something concerning.
• Practical strategies for embedding body safety education into everyday routines.
• Key evidence-informed resources to support safe and empowering environments for children.

The session will be co-delivered by FVREE’s Prevention and Education team and body safety advocate Jayneen Sanders, providing a combination of expert guidance and hands-on tools for parents and carers.

This session is delivered in partnership with Boroondara, Knox, Maroondah and Yarra Ranges councils.
