Pairing fantastic live music with exquisite exhibitions and an after-hours vibe, this Friday night event provides a new way to experience art at Hawthorn Arts Centre. Entry is free and gives you after-hours access to the Town Hall Gallery exhibitions, live music and the Arts Bar.

As a special treat, there are limited spaces available for a free guided tour of Hawthorn Arts Centre before Art After Hours gets underway.This is your chance to learn some secrets about this stunning venue and its history. The tour is free but bookings are essential.

‘The Long Way: Kevin Chin’ is a major exhibition at Town Hall Gallery taking viewers on a journey into borderless new territories. A new series of ethereal paintings is contextualised by a curated selection of highlights from Chin’s 15-year artistic practice.
Dynamic and detailed, ‘Vivid Reverie, a Symphony in Still Life’ by Penelope Lau explores how household objects reflect identity and self-expression.
Bold and textural, ‘Coming Home’ by Marina Floreancig is a community exhibition exploring place and identity.
