This special Afternoon with the Archives will showcase photographs, documents, artwork, newspapers and other fascinating items connected to the remarkable women featured in the History Behind the Hedges walking tour.
Enjoy a hands-on look at treasures from the Boroondara Heritage Collection as you explore the lives of trailblazers such as Alice Anderson, AME Bale and other women who helped shape Boroondara through creativity, leadership and community action.
Participants will discover how these stories have been pieced together from archival records and also be shown how to navigate the Heritage Collection to uncover even more fascinating local history.
Explore our new Boroondara Heritage collection or visit our Local and family history page for more information and resources.
