Markham Reserve – park area | City of Boroondara

Markham Reserve is suitable for private and community events, and has many beautiful picnic spots.

The park features a fully fenced adventure playground with ample seating and shelter and a BMX and skate park with 3 ramps.

Barbecue and two sets of tables and chairs between a grass field and a dirt path. There is a tree trunk to the near right, a fenced-off nursery in the background and cricket nets in the distance.

Playground with small climbing feature, slide, swings, toy car and rope feature. There is a fenced-off construction area and crane in the background.

You can book a grass area in the reserve for your exclusive use.

You can apply to bring up to 40 chairs and 6 tables for events.

You can't bring a marquee, arbour or other shade structure.

Booking fees

Space	Fee
Alexandra Gardens, Canterbury Gardens, Surrey Gardens	$170 per hour (includes exclusive use of the rotunda). Commercial hire fee $1800.00 per day.
Central Gardens, Wallen Road Reserve and Maranoa Botanic Gardens	$170 per 4-hour block. Commercial hire fee $1800.00 per day.
All other parks and gardens	$170 per 4-hour block. Commercial hire fee $1800.00 per day.
Event bond	minimum $200

Booking times

7 days including public holidays.

April to October: 8 am to 6 pm.

November to March: 8 am to 8:30 pm.

Public facilities

Public facilities are for all visitors to use - they are not included as part of a booking.
