This free information session will be hosted by Tiffany Westphal, from School Can’t Australia, for an overview on navigating the challenges and distress of caring for a young person experiencing school attendance difficulties.
This session will help participants recognise early signs of distress in young people and understand why reframing 'school refusal' as 'school can’t' can provide a more compassionate and effective approach. Attendees will learn
The session will also highlight ways for parents and carers to look after their own mental and emotional health while supporting their young person.
