Wildlife shelters and habitat - ages 3 to 5

Children will discover the basic needs of local wildlife – food, water, shelter and connect to local ecosystems (CERES nest boxes, the Merri Creek or your centre) through exploration to assess if it is a suitable place for wildlife to live.

• Identify, collect, and build what local wildlife need for a suitable place to live.
• Build a mini insect hotel to bring back for your centre to increase habitat and biodiversity.

This workshop is aimed at children aged 3 to 5 years.

Each child or group of children must have an adult guardian present throughout the workshop and any breaks (maximum one guardian per child).

Please allow plenty of time for parking and a short walk (5 minute) to the meeting point at Terra Terra Wonder Playspace.
