Join us for a gentle and welcoming mindfulness session focused on wellbeing. Together, we’ll explore what mindfulness is, how it can support everyday life, and simple ways to practice it. Research shows that mindfulness can help reduce stress, improve focus, support emotional balance, and enhance overall wellbeing.
This restorative session will be led by Fiona Kriaris, the Centre Manager at Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre, who has over a decade of experience in the health and fitness industry. Fiona is a trained mindfulness facilitator from the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center.
The session will include a short guided meditation, evidence-based tips you can use right away, and dedicated time to ask questions. No experience necessary — just come as you are.
This wellbeing conversation is not a substitute for individualised clinical care. The discussion is general in nature, offering tips and advice for a healthy lifestyle.
