Guided bird walk at Nettleton Park

Join City of Boroondara as we compete in the 2026 City Nature Challenge! 

You'll be helping to put Boroondara's flora and fauna on the world map, while contributing to important citizen science data collection. The challenge runs for 4 days only: Friday 24 to Monday 27 April 2026.

Come along and join us for a guided bird walk with Life Gone Wild. We will be on hand to help you spot, learn about and record your sightings, as we focus on our amazing bird species!

We will take you on a guided walk through Nettleton Park to spot various various bird species who call Boroondara home.

We encourage you to download the free iNaturalist app prior to the event, however this is not essential to attend the session.

Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes for an outdoor walk along uneven ground and bring a water bottle if you'll need one.

Together, let's see the incredible biodiversity that Boroondara has to offer!

Note: Children may attend, however must have an adult guardian present throughout the event. It is the guardian’s responsibility to supervise your child.
