Guided Bird Walk in Maranoa Botanic Gardens - Summer

Join Angus from Life Gone Wild for a guided bird walk through the botanic gardens. We will be on hand to help you spot, learn about, and record your sightings, as we focus on the amazing birds that call Boroondara home!

Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes for an outdoor walk and remain on the footpaths.

Please bring a water bottle and be prepared for the weather.

Children may attend, however must have an adult guardian present throughout the event. It is the guardian’s responsibility to supervise your child. 

Please keep an eye on the weather forecast. We will email attendees if we need to cancel/postpone any events. Please keep an eye on your emails prior to the event for updates.

Where to meet

Parring Rd entry gate, Balwyn VIC 3103. Please enter the gardens via the Parring Road entry gate (off Whitehorse Road). Please note there are multiple entry gates to the gardens.

This is also the main carpark for the gardens. A staff member will meet you at this entry gate to begin the tour.
