Put the phones down for an afternoon and reconnect as a family.The Lions Club of Melbourne Next Gen invites local families to join Disconnect to Reconnect, a fun and engaging community event designed to help parents and children build healthier technology habits while enjoying meaningful time together.The afternoon will feature family games, team challenges and friendly competitions, including kids vs adults activities with prizes for overall champions, MVPs, good sports and even the best losers. It is a great opportunity for families to laugh, play and reconnect without screens.Facilitators from The Workshop will also share practical insights and simple strategies to help families manage technology at home and ensure devices serve us, rather than the other way around.During parts of the event, children will participate in fun gamified activities while parents learn practical tips and resources to support healthier screen habits for the whole family.Families with children of any age are welcome.
