We’re thrilled to welcome Lyn Swinburne AO, founder of Breast Cancer Network Australia and Elise Gillespie, Joint CEO Bakers Delight Holdings as our keynote speakers.
Lyn Swinburne is one of Australia’s most influential advocates in breast cancer care and support. Following her own diagnosis in 1993, Lyn transformed her personal experience into a powerful national movement for change. She co-founded the Breast Cancer Action Group of Victoria and went on to establish BCNA, now the leading voice for people affected by breast cancer.
Elise Gillespie leads Bakers Delight Australia and New Zealand, one of the country’s most recognisable retail brands. The daughter of founders Roger Gillespie and Lesley Gillespie, Elise began her career with COBS Bread in North America, rising to Vice President and helping drive the brand’s expansion. Since returning to Australia, she has focused on innovation, customer experience and supporting franchisees, delivering strong and sustained growth.
The partnership between Bakers Delight and BCNA is a long-standing and impactful collaboration that has raised more than $18 million since 2000 through the Pink Bun campaign. This landmark partnership directly supports thousands of Australians affected by breast cancer, funding vital services and resources for women and their families. BCNA provides trusted information, peer support and advocacy, helping people navigate diagnosis, treatment and recovery with confidence and connection.
Lyn and Elise will share how they’ve successfully partnered to create positive change, including what’s worked for them, what they’ve learned along the way and their top tips for building partnerships that thrive.
There’ll also be time for your questions from the floor.
