Walks will take place every Wednesday morning, leaving at 9 am. Meet at the Balwyn Community Centre for a 45 minute to 1 hour walk around the neighbourhood and botanical gardens. Membership to the Balwyn Community Centre is $16 per year, which then covers all walks and a cuppa and chat afterwards. A great way to get your steps in, meet others in the area, explore some of the local neighbourhood and see what's on offer at the Balwyn Community Centre. Ashburton Family Drug and Gambling Help Support Group - SHARC Days: Wednesday Location: Alamein Neighbourhood and Learning Centre, 49 Ashburn Grove Ashburton Price: Free The Ashburton Support Group meetings happen on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, either in person or on Zoom, from 7 pm to 9 pm. They are for family members and friends of loved ones with problematic alcohol, drug, or gambling use. They are led by volunteers with their own lived experience, and provide safe, confidential, and friendly places where members can learn strategies on how to cope, gain information and support and be among people who understand. All meetings are free, but you need to call to book a place at a meeting.
