Maintaining muscle strength is essential as our muscular mass begins to decrease naturally over 50.

Have fun and keep fit with this strength training class specifically designed to strengthen core muscles and improve overall fitness. Strength training can assist with chronic conditions such as arthritis, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis and heart disease. It also improves balance and coordination reducing the risk of falling.

No previous experience with gym or weights is necessary and each exercise is guided by our qualified instructor.
If you're a carer you may be eligible for respite care - where someone else looks after the person you care for so you can take a break. This may range from a few hours to longer and may be at your own home or at a centre. Contact My Aged Care to see if you are eligible for subsidised services. If you are eligible an assessor will help you find services to suit your needs.
