Join us on Tuesday and Friday mornings between 9:30 am to 11 am at the Seniors Exercise Park in Victoria Park, Kew. These sessions are run by a group of 10 volunteers from the community who have undertaken training with the National Ageing Research Institute (NARI). This friendly, enthusiastic team is equipped to run our Come and Try sessions at the park, and demonstrate how you can use the equipment safely and effectively. If you’re interested in ways to improve balance, strength, or mobility, or you want to try a new activity this year, come along to our next Come and Try session.

A regular fortnight gathering inviting Chinese elderly participants to build community cohesion promoting general health and wellness.Meetings will be held onsite every 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month starting 9 October. Featured activities will include: healthy exercises for the elderly, special topics of community interest, birthday parties, games, English classes and music classes. We'll continue as long as there is community interest. $15 per session.

Enjoy a relaxed, calming workout that is perfect for all fitness levels. Tai Chi increases strength, balance and heart health. It also helps with bone density while engaging the mind and sharpening your concentration. Our classes are great for people who wish to improve their balance, for those returning to exercise following a hospital stay or rehab as well as people who are keen to hone their Tai Chi skills. Runs on Fridays from 10 am to 11 am with morning tea after the class.
