Based in Prince Edward Island, the trio – Karson McKeown (Ottawa, ON), Tuli Porcher (Victoria, BC), and Tom Gammons (Butte, MT) – blends fiddle, cello, and guitar into a sound that’s both rooted and boundary-pushing.Their journey began not in a classroom, but at a pub session in Charlottetown, where instant musical chemistry sparked. Since then, they’ve brought their vibrant, contemporary take on traditional music to major festivals like Woodford (Australia) and Shetland (Scotland). Each member brings a distinct musical voice: Karson’s powerful fiddle, Tuli’s adventurous shifts between lead and harmony, and Tom’s rhythmic guitar grounding it all. Their 2023 album ‘Hemispheres’, produced by Jake Charron and Donnie Richard, pays tribute to the places they’ve travelled while carrying the soul of PEI. With original compositions and reimagined traditional tunes, Inn Echo invites listeners into a rich, evolving story told through strings, energy and heart. Chloe Foy (UK)With her strikingly beautiful voice and emotionally direct songwriting, Chloe Foy has a gift for finding magic in the spaces between light and dark. Growing up in the stillness of the English countryside, music became her way of expressing the nuance of emotion, weaving vulnerability and longing into songs that speak to the complexity of the human experience – love, loss, and the quiet battles of everyday life.Chloe’s 2021 debut album ‘Where Shall We Begin’ introduced her as a singular voice in contemporary folk. Rich and meticulously crafted, the record received praise from The Sunday Times, Clash, and The Line of Best Fit. Tracks were championed by BBC 6 Music, with support from Guy Garvey and Radcliffe & Maconie, and the album reached the UK Folk Chart Top 40, cementing her reputation as an independent singer-songwriter of rare skill and finesse. Her anticipated follow-up, ‘Complete Fool’, reveals a deepened, richer sound, merging rock-tinged folk with classic strings and layered harmonies. The album explores the beauty and challenges of real love, asking searching questions about commitment, ambition, and identity. The result is a poignant, celebratory tribute to real life and the endurance of love. Port Fairy Folk Festival & Kew Court HousePort Fairy Folk Festival is happy to announce 3 special shows in collaboration with Boroondara Arts, featuring artists from around the world. Across 3 special nights at the Kew Courthouse and Hawthorn Arts Centre they will share their wonderful performances in the lead up to the 49th festival in Port Fairy.  , City of Boroondara [email protected] Australia/Melbourne public
