Since then, she has continued to work at her music, growing into an artist who performs shows that leave a mark on her audience. Lucy wowed audiences as an emerging artist opening for Flynn Gurry during Port Fairy Folk Festival at Kew Court House in March this year. Now with her 5-piece band, ’The Blue Sky’, backing her up, Lucy Joy is eager to bring a new level of impact with her music, both her original work and bringing new ideas to established records.About Strawberry PrinceBorn in Canberra and currently based in Melbourne, the past 4 years have seen Strawberry Prince winning over crowds in both cities with his consistently unique approaches to indie-folk conventions. He has earned particular praise for his lyrics, with those for his debut single ‘Chinese Takeout’ (released in 2022) being internationally published in the American zine ‘Paper Frames’, co-edited by Field Medic. About Lucy Joy

Lucy Joy is an indie-folk singer-songwriter who makes music to move people.

Born in Canberra/Ngunnawal and based in Melbourne/Naarm, she began her music career with a ’song-a-day’ challenge she set herself in 2023. Since then, she has continued to work at her music, growing into an artist who performs shows that leave a mark on her audience.
