A local favourite, Melbourne-based musician Lucy Joy returns to Kew Court House. Blending indie-folk with rich band arrangements, Lucy has become a regular on Melbourne’s live music scene. Lucy writes intimate songs about “her little world” with the aim of moving listeners, pairing personal storytelling with warm, expansive band arrangements. Lucy’s triple j Unearthed profile features the track “Painting Skies,” written in Melbourne’s Flagstaff Gardens. Opening her songs into rich live textures, Lucy Joy brings a thoughtful, heartfelt presence to her performances.
